Service Description
The PSRC replaces the old FSRT and is a great way to learn the skills needed to be safe on the water and be able to keep other paddlers safe with you. Learn how to rescue and deal with situations in conditions that vitally need the knowledge of rescues and safety. This very enjoyable course is designed to provide paddlers with the necessary knowledge such as: Skills which will enable them to ensure the safety of themselves and others; Appropriate rescue skills which can be used to help themselves and/or others in difficulty; And how to use the appropriate safety equipment on flat/sheltered water. As this is one of the pre-requests to become a qualified Instructor or Coach. This Course is ideal for any scout leaders, parents and paddlers that are regularly out on the water and want to keep their fellow paddlers safe in case of an emergency. The PSRC will provide you with the necessary knowledge to run safe session for yourself and the paddlers you have out on the water.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy Cancelling Single Bookings Cancellation 12 days or more prior to the agreed activity starting date. You will be reimbursed for the full course price minus British Canoeing Registration and Processing fees that have already been paid and a discretionary admin fee of 15%. Cancellation between 48 hours and 7 days prior to the agreed activity start date. You are entitled to a 50% reimbursement or a 100% value GoSport Activity Centre voucher (valid for that season). Adjustments can be made at the discretion of a GoSport Activity Centre Director. Cancellation 48 hours or later (last minute) No reimbursements will be issued. Cancellation of Group Bookings If the group cancel a large group booking no refund will be issued if the cancellation is made more than 3 weeks before the course start date. Special cancellations GoSport Activity Centre appreciates that some circumstances might be beyond people’s control and make the activity impossible or dangerous such as poor weather conditions or national restrictions. In case of bad weather conditions or other last-minute factors, we can also propose to reschedule the activity. If you cannot attend the new proposed date, you will be entitled to a full reimbursement.
