Winter Activity Camp

A hot meal included each day for our winter activity camp.

Join us this Christmas holiday for a full day (9 am - 5 pm) of exciting winter activities at GoSport Activity Centre! Our programme includes axe throwing, archery, cookery, STEM and Lego robotics, computer-based graphic design, den building, orienteering, fire lighting, and bushcraft. With activities for every interest and a hot lunch included, it’s the perfect way to learn, explore, and have fun over the festive break!

£45 per day

What is included in my booking?

Your booking at GoSport Activity Centre includes a full day of action-packed activities, running from 9 am to 5 pm. Kids will enjoy a variety of exciting experiences like:

  • Activities like, axe throwing, archery, cookery, STEM and Lego robotics, graphic design on computers, den building, orienteering, fire lighting, and bushcraft. 

  • A hot lunch each day

  • All the equipment need

  • An OFSTED registered childcare provider

  • We accept childcare vouchers

  • A guarunteed "great time"

Do I need any experience?

You don't need any experience - you might be a pro or a complete beginner. Our highly-trained coaches will support and challenge every individual in a bespoke way that suits their needs. We are here to teach the skills and your child is there to have fun and learn throughout the week - even skills they can bring home (like cooking).

Our Camps

What would I need to bring?

All you need is:

  • Make sure you have dressed appropriately for being both indoors and outdoors during winter

  • A sturdy pair of trainers/shoes/boots

  • A bag/rucksack

  • A Coat

  • Pack some extra layers

  • You many want some waterproof trousers

No need to bring a packed lunch as lunch is provided every day. Check out our lunch menu page for more information.

What will my day look like?

  • 09:00 - Arrival and join in with the activities run by one of our instructors

  • 09:30 - Session 1 (e.g. Axe Throwing)

  • 11:00 - Session 2 (e.g. Cookery)

  • 12:00 - Lunch 

  • 13:00 - Session 3 (e.g. STEM and Lego Robots)

  • 14:45 - Session 4 (e.g. Fire Lighting)

  • 16:30-17:00 - Games and Collection 

No day is the same! Check out what your programme is when you sign your child in to see what exciting activities are instore each day. We may even go on a 'mini' hike to practice some orienteering and den building. 

Our Facilities

Those attending our Activity Camp, are given private access to our building for activities and toilets ensuring that no members of the public come into contact with anyone attending our camp: 

  • Your child will be signed in and welcomed each day by a member of our team. 

  • They eat their hot lunches together allowing groups to discuss their morning activities and take part in our weekly challenges. 

  • Bring a water bottle each day, which can be refilled at our water bottle station. 

  • And, they can purchase a drink (such as a hot choclate) from our small onsite cafe - at our reduced childcare price.
