The Summer Camp

A Summer of Watersports and Activities.

A fantastic 5 days of paddlesports and adventure activities. We offer many different activities and skills such as: kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, traditional rafting, axe throwing, archery, orienteering, water safety and rescue skills and many other learning experiences on and off the water. This Monday-to-Friday experience is even great for the parents - dropping off at 9am and collection up to 5pm will allow your child to have the time of their life whilst being able to go to work as normal.

£225 per week

What is included in my booking?

Our group of highly experienced instructors ensure that everyone has an experience that is not to be forgotten - "BEST DAY EVER!" Through our experience, we provide a high-quality programme that builds on skills, physical and interpersonal, and we adapt and tailor our programme to suit the individuals. The programme is overseen by our director Alex Merrifield; who is a fully qualified teacher at a local junior school.

  • We accept childcare vouchers

  • Most of the equipment is already provided (please see our what to bring)

Do I need any experience?

You don't need any experience - you might be a pro or a complete beginner. Our highly-trained coaches will support and challenge every individual in a bespoke way that suits their needs. You don't even need to be able to swim. We are here to teach the skills and your child is there to have fun and learn throughout the week.

Our Camps

What would I need to bring?

All you will need is: 

  • a warm change of clothes 

  • a packed lunch and a drink

  • water gear (this could just be shorts and t-shirt) 

  • wetsuit (optional - we have limited available to hire. If you would like to hire one it costs £10 for the week) 

  • a bag 

  • a towel  

  • a pair of shoes for sports and a pair to wear in the water 

  • Everything else will be provided by us, including: the buoyancy aid, paddles, boats, boards, equipment and many other activities to do.

What will my day look like?

  • 09:00 - Arrival and get ready to go on the water 

  • 10:00 - First set of watersports 

  • 12:00 - Lunch 

  • 13:00 - Second set of watersports 

  • 15:00 - Dry land activities 

  • 17:00 - Departure 

No day is the same! Check out what your programme is when you sign your child in to see what exciting activities are instore each day. One day, we might even go on a paddling journey towards the submarine museum.

Our Facilities

Those attending our Summer Camps, are given private access to our building for changing and toilets ensuring that no members of the public come into contact with anyone attending our camp: 

  • Your child will be signed in and welcomed each day by a member of our team. 

  • They eat their packed lunches together allowing groups to discuss their morning activities and take part in our weekly challenges. 

  • They are encouraged to bring a water bottle each day which can be refilled at our water bottle station. 

  • And, they can purchase a drink (such as a hot choclate) from our small onsite cafe - at our reduced childcare price.

Step 1: Choose the childcare service that you would like to book your child into e.g. our Winter Holiday Activity Camp.

Step 2: Add the booking to your basket or book now.

Step 3: Select Pay via HAF or Childcare voucher.
